I've been woodworking since I was a kid and I started building electric guitars in 2019. I decided that I wanted to build an electric guitar for my son. The very first song that I heard my son play on the guitar was "Blackbird" by the Beatles. This seemed like a fitting name for my guitar company. 

I am a one person company and it takes me about 4 months to create your custom guitar. I primarily build neck through guitars as my roots are in woodworking and this just seems like a better built guitar to me. 

I do everything by hand so you get the craftsmanship you would expect in a custom guitar. Of course I do use power tools, however there are no CNC machines or laser cutters, just my big old hands to feel the wood and shape it to what you want.
